Enhancing Internal Quality Assurance Systems (EIQAS)
Founders of the project are nine organizations of higher education systems of four countries: Poland, Bulgaria, Slovenia and Portugal. This project is co-funded by the European Union and is the first project specifically designed to support the development of internal quality assurance (IQA) and bringing together both national quality assurance (QA) agencies and higher education institutions (HEIs). It aims to support HEIs in further development of their internal quality assurance systems based on Part 1 of the European Standards and Guidelines (ESG) and national agencies in further development of their methodologies for external evaluation of internal quality assurance systems at HEIs, thus addressing one of the standards in Part 2 of the ESG.
