NEAA took part in the Panel on Research Governance – UDEF 2025

On the 22^nd of May 2025 the the Regional Panel on Research Governance took place in the city of Bucharest, Romania. The panel was part of the first phase 2025 Université d’Été de la Francophonie (UDEF), and was organized by the Agence universitaire de la Francophonie - Central and Eastern Europe in anticipation of the global UDEF gathering in Beirut (July 2025).

The panel was separated into 4 roundtable discussion on the topics of Responsible research assessment and Francophone challenges, Diversity of formats and bibliodiversity, Incentive mechanisms and institutional support and Internationalisation and multilingual co-publication.

The main goal of the event is to foster regional dialogue and contribute concrete recommendations for more inclusive and context-sensitive evaluation systems, in line with global developments such as the CoARA agreement. Prof. Velizara Pencheva, Chairperson of NEAA’s Standing Committee on Technical Sciences took part in the event.
